It's important to use a strong password that you can remember. Using capital letters, numbers and special characters such as periods, semicolons, parentheses are all good methods to creating good passwords. Alternately, using a phrase instead of a single word can help increase the strength of your password while making it easier to remember. It's very important that you create a password you can remember because if you forget your password and make three failed attempts to login, your account will be locked out, and you will have to contact the system administrator to have your account reset. Strong passwords and good controls on logins ensure that your information is not compromised by someone trying to obtain your confidential information.
